Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Kansas**Start Date:** September 22, 2026**Location:** Wichita, Kansas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; every other weekend required; float pool participation required**Highlights:**- 14-bed Progressive Care Unit with 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio- Experience with chest tubes, IV pumps, medication drips, central lines, and various drainage systems- Meditech EMR system- Collaborative team environment with dedicated RNs and Patient Care Technicians- Opportunity to work with catch recovery and critical care patient populations- Travel RN assignment in a well-established medical center**Requirements:**- Active Kansas RN license or compact state license- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PCU experience (required)- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications (required)- Knowledge of medication drips, central line management, and catch recovery preferred- Willingness to float to other units as needed- Available to work every other weekend**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This Progressive Care Unit offers an excellent environment for experienced nurses who thrive in fast-paced, patient-centered settings.
